4 different ways to consume CBD oil

CBD info

This is a question we are often asked. Taking CBD oil can be as simple as putting the required amount under your tongue. But for many people, the intense bitter taste of the oil is too pungent.

Luckily, there are many ways to ingest CBD oil. In this article, we are going to explain some alternative consumption methods, such as taking our softgels, mixing it with different topical lotions, or using it to prepare food and beverages.

Gelcaps contain all the good things about our CBD oil in a flavorless, easy-to-swallow capsule. They have the same potency as our golden CBD oils (4% or 10%) and can be taken orally, just like any other capsule.

Best of all, our capsules are made from a tasteless gel, making them ideal for those who don’t enjoy the bitter taste of regular CBD oils. Each of our capsules contains 6.4mg of pure CBD, making dosing extremely easy as well.

Unlike ordinary oil that is swallowed by drops under the tongue, these capsules are absorbed through the digestive system. Therefore, their absorption is slightly slower and they take up to 30 minutes to take effect.

CBD is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, and can be great for your skin. It’s not a bad idea to mix some CBD oil with your regular body cream. To do this, simply add your required dose of CBD (we suggest 9-12 drops daily) to your cream or lotion. Mix well and apply on the skin.

Keep in mind that very fatty creams make it difficult for CBD to be absorbed through the skin. Therefore, it is advisable to do a test: take only a little cream, mix it with the oil and apply it to a small area of the skin. The cream should be quickly absorbed into the skin and should also blend well with the oil.

If this is not the case, try mixing the oil with another cream that has a lower fat content. Or you can also take a look at our assortment of CBD creams, to start nourishing your skin with the benefits of CBD as soon as possible.

This is an excellent option for those who do not like the taste of CBD oil and who also have difficulty swallowing capsules or pills. When you prepare yogurt or fruit smoothies, protein shakes, or other drinks, you simply have to add a few drops with the necessary dose.

Typically, CBD doses are only a few drops, so you don’t have to worry about the oil altering the flavor of the drink in the slightest. We highly recommend CBD smoothies for busy people who are always on the go. And if you don’t have time to prepare the drinks at home, you can always buy a shake and add a few drops. Easier impossible!

Edibles are another great way to mask the taste of CBD oil. This oil is extremely versatile and can be added to all of your favorite dishes. All you have to do is briefly heat the oil with a little edible fat, such as butter or oil (you can use coconut, olive or sunflower).

Here is a simple recipe for making CBD brownies at home. This is what you need:

225g good quality chocolate
¾ cup (170g) butter
1¼ cups (280g) sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
¾ cup (90g) flour
¼ cup (30g) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
CBD oil

1. Heat the oven to 180ºC.

2. Chop the chocolate and melt it.

3. In a bowl, mix the required dose of CBD (we suggest about 10ml) with the butter and melt little by little. Next, combine the melted butter with the sugar, and then add the eggs and vanilla, beating the mixture until light and fluffy.

4. Add the chocolate, stirring everything well. Make sure the chocolate is not too hot, or it will cause the eggs in the mixture to cook and become scrambled.

5. In another container, sift together the flour, cocoa, and salt.

6. Fold these dry ingredients into the mix, using a spatula. But don’t mix them too much.

7. Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes.

If you’re not into sweets, you can also add CBD to savory dishes. You simply have to add the recommended dose to the oil or fat of your choice, and use it to cook as you normally would.

Keep in mind that cooking with CBD has some drawbacks. The first is that it is difficult to control the dose. The second is that CBD has to pass through the digestive tract, so it can take some time to work.

But despite this, cooking with CBD is a great way to cover up the bitter taste of the oil, and it’s a fun way to enjoy the benefits of this cannabinoid in your regular diet.
